Thanksgiving Service Celebrating the Life of

 Donna Nicola Sibeana Moncrieffe

DECEMBER 26, 1972 – SEPTEMBER 17,2021

AN ETERNAL MEMORY

Until we meet again…

Those special memories of you

will always bring a smile

if only I could have you back

if only for a while

Then we could sit and talk again

just like we used to do

you always meant so very much

and always will do too

The fact that you are no longer here

will always cause me pain

but you’re forever in my heart

until we meet again.

Born in Kingston Jamaica

DECEMBER 26 , 1972

Maya Angelou posited the question and I quote “What is a fear of living? It’s being preeminently afraid of dying. It is not doing what you came here to do, out of timidity and spinelessness. The anidote is to take full responsibility for yourself – for the time you take up and the space you occupy. If you don’t know what you’re here to do, then just do some good”

It is with profound loss that I give this remembrance but as I reflect on the life of my sister, I can whole heartedly say that Donna Nicola Sibeana Moncrieffe represented the very essence of Maya Angelou’s Antidote, from her sunrise on December 26, 1972, to her sunset on September 17, 2021 because Donna took full responsibility for not only herself but her family, she did good, lots of good for family, relatives and friends including acquaintance.

Today as we celebrate the life of a remarkable young woman, Donna, affectionately called ‘D’. we often consider what is the art of being a mother, a daughter, a sibling – yet all we can do is to give of our best and hope that we do it well, for Donna she certainly excelled.

It is hard to lose a loved one to the grave but I know God will grant you the strength to go on. Life is the greatest gift that God has given us. Death is only a bridge towards eternal life with God. My heartfelt condolences to the family, I’m sorry for your loss and for the sudden grief in your lives. As you mourn, I pray that God will bring you comfort and give you strength you need to go on ……..“Blessed Are Those Who Mourn, for They Will be Comforted” (Matthew 5:4) Be strong in the Lord

I wanted to comment on here earlier but I’ve been loss for words, as I know the difficult time my friends, Wade, Kintu and their family are going through right now. Miss Donna was a very kind and helpful person who has imprinted several hearts, including mine. Wade, I pray that God will comfort you and your whole family during this sad time. May he richly bless you as you mourn, and may the light of his presence be a continual source of consolation. ??❤️?
