IN LOVING MEMORY OF

EILEEN DELORES TAYLOR

DECEMBER 15, 1952 – MARCH 24, 2021

“What we once enjoyed and those we deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us “

Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

– John 14: 1-3

Mrs, Taylor, you took me under your wings from the day we met at the Accountant General’s Department. The exemplary life that you lived resonates in me today. Your mentorship, and kind words of encouragement lives on. Thank you for being such a great listener and encourager for everyone from all walks of life. You were selfless and left your mark on so many.

My deepest condolences to Aston, Richard, Kalema and the rest of the family.

My heart is acting, but heaven is one star brighter.

I met Mrs Taylor in the 1980s as a new employee at the Accountant General’s Department. She was one of those persons who did not shy away from mentoring the new recruits. I was one of those persons. She was vibrant and outspoken. Our friendship extended to me knowing her husband, her parents, her children and her siblings.
Her contribution to the Accountant General’s Department remains invaluable. She worked tirelessly in accomplishing her tasks as a team member of the Pensions Unit.
Her memories will remain with me. To her immediate family members and her siblings “may her soul rest in peace and when the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and the dead in Christ shall rise she will be in that calling to be with her Lord forever”.

Condolence to the Spaulding’s family. May you find comfort from the memories garnered over the years with your sister. Let us also take comfort that when Jesus comes again “death will die”. Keep faithful until then.
