Born in Jamaica
May 06, 1956
Lloyd St Jerome Fletcher was born to Albert Roy Fletcher (Artisan) & Linda E. Fletcher (Teacher). He was the first of 3 children for Mother. However, he automatically became a member of a much larger family, as he also became the seventh of 10 children for his father.
Lloyd spent his formative years living in Harbour View. In August 1964, at the age of eight, the family relocated to Boscobel, St. Mary, where his mother became the Head Mistress of Boscobel Primary School. While at Boscobel Primary, Lloyd displayed skills as a cricketer and a long-distance runner and could easily represent Jamaica in 800-1500 metre races…

Lloyd was always a deeply spiritual person. He grew up in the church and could quote many scriptures. He also knew a lot about religious history. He often commented about the fact that he knew he had a calling on his life and would one day turn his life over to service….”soon”
One of the things I am happiest about, was that God actually gave him time to set the record straight. Before going into surgery he visited church for prayer and recommitted his life to God. He never missed an opportunity for prayer throughout the process. He believed in the power of prayer. His faith was strong which is perhaps why he never felt pain.
For this all we give God thanks.
I never got to meet you but heard so much about you from your daughter Natalia (she’s such a beautiful lady) and I’m sure she got such from you. She speaks/spoke highly of you and how she misses you. My condolences to the family.
