Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Doyenne of Education, Founding Principal of Marlie Mount Primary School, Mentor, Pillar of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Community Builder and Leader made her transition to her heavenly home on 4th June 2021.
Left to cherish her memory and her incalculable contribution to the growth and development of the community of Old Harbour and its environs are her: children Sonija, Roderick, Eugene, Marie and Dave, her surviving siblings William and Kathleen, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren, her community of friends in Colbeck and Old Harbour, the Old Harbour Primary School and the Marlie Mount School Communities, current and retired.
In lieu of floral arrangements or wreaths the family is requesting that donations be made to the Marlie Mount Primary and Infant School (BNS A/C #10086215) and/or The Holy Trinity Church, Old Harbour (NCB CHQ A/C #871605076).
The Memorial Service will take place at the Holy Trinity Church, Old Harbour on the 21st June 2021 at 10 am.
Viewings will be held at: Roman’s Funeral Home on Friday, June 18, 2021 between 12noon and 4pmand St Dorothy’s Church on Monday, June 21, 2021 between 10am to 11am. All proceedings will follow strict COVID protocols.
